Peanut Butter Snowflake Blossoms

I made these cookies for my students the last week of classes and they disappeared pretty fast--but when are peanut butter blossoms ever neglected?

I'd like to drawn attention to the fact that I made these the last week of classes, which means they came from a mix, and I'm totally not ashamed. They're adorable. But this also means I took pictures on my kitchen counter as I was rushing out of the door, so my apologies.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

If you only make one batch of cookies a year, make it this one. These chocolate peanut butter cookies are made extra delicious by mixing in a half-packet of chocolate fudge pudding mix! They were soft, and gooey, and I ate far too many with milk. What's better, these are also nice, big, chunky cookies. You might want to double this recipe, however, because two dozen might not be enough for you. What are you doing? Go bake these cookies.

Peanut Butter Cookies

I'm not going to lie, after chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies, peanut butter cookies are my absolute favorite. Like, four-cookies-later-can't-stop-eating favorite. These cookies have very minimal flour, which means that they taste pretty much straight up like peanut butter out of the jar.

From Pinterest: Peanut Butter Banana Squares

I am a sucker for basically anything peanut butter-banana and I think I eat the combination in one way or another every single day. So, when I found these bars on pinterest one afternoon I knew I had to give them a try! I modified them by adding some nuts and (of course) extra cinnamon. They are not dense or full of oils and I think will make a great after-running snack for me during the semester!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pinwheels

Ever since I started this blog I have a constant stream of baking-related thoughts sitting in the back of my mind. When I'm in the grocery store I'm ticking through an imaginary checklist of what would be good in a cookie, or how I could use those adorable mini rolos, or searching for new flavors of jello pudding. I have the type of mind that just can't turn off once I've stumbled onto an interesting idea. That normally helps me be a better researcher, and last night it made me a better baker.

Cookies are often my safe place, they're the easiest recipes to think up all on my own. I don't typically make a lot of heavy baked goods--the physicist isn't a big fan of double chocolate choco chocolate like I am--but these cookies are indulgent and divine. And because I haven't done any internet searches to tell me otherwise, they're 100% my own creation.

Nutter Butter Cheesecakes

My favorite manager at Michael's just found out she's having a boy and is adorable and cute about it constantly. We were sharing a package of Nutter Butters last week and I had a moment of inspiration. Yummy inspiration. These little Nutter Butter Cheesecakes are super easy (notice a theme?)--
